Unfortunately, the birthday cake, a Saint Honoré, didn't live up to the occasion. The taste was good, but unfortunately, the choux pastries were still very fresh, just frozen solid when they were served, and the moisture from defrosting had soaked the puff pastry, which lost its shape. This was a bit disappointing for such a special occasion. I'm offering this feedback in a constructive spirit. Your kindness is a real asset; it would be a shame if it weren't accompanied by a similar level of commitment to the quality of the ingredients. A birthday cake deserves the utmost attention, professionalism, and pride in a job well done. I hope this message is helpful.

The prices are completely disproportionate to the quality. Pastries for €4, when even reputable bakeries charge less! That price reflects real expertise. Here, the cakes don't even stand up, the finishing is sloppy, and the quality absolutely does not justify the price. The real problem is the monopoly: in Simiane, there's only one bakery, so residents are forced to go there for lack of alternatives. As a result, there's no self-reflection and the quality suffers. In a village like ours, we'd like a proper bakery, with good pastries and good bread made with care and respect for the customers. At these prices, we have the right to expect much better. Many villagers share this frustration. When will we get a new bakery?

I bought some pastries this morning and they were as hard as the day before. The least they could do is warn customers and lower the price. This is the second and last time. 👎👎

I bought two mini pastries to take away today, and while eating one of them, I found a piece of cellophane. It's shameful considering the price of the pastries. I just read the reviews... I'm not even surprised. It's a shame, given that the service is otherwise quite decent.

Very nice bakery and friendly staff

Passing through this pretty town, this bakery easily wins the prize for the ugliest and most expensive cakes! The pastries are of poor quality, and the bakery itself is filthy. You might go there once, maybe twice as a last resort. The pizzas are acceptable. Avoid this place at all costs if you want to find a decent bakery.

I have never tasted pastries of such poor quality. They clearly seemed to be several days old: dry pastry, sour-tasting creams, and obviously spoiled. They were simply inedible. A health inspection of this establishment is urgently needed. I will not hesitate to report it to the relevant authorities.

This isn't the first time. But that's it, I'm not going back! The chocolate bar brioche... there's only one, and you have to throw away half the brioche to find that half chocolate bar. Plus... the brioche is rock hard and dry... The cleanliness isn't great either... hairbrushes are lying around on their work surfaces and on the bread ovens!

I wanted to try again after being disappointed a while back, but ultimately it wasn't a great success. The savory items are more or less okay, but the sweets are something else entirely! Everything is incredibly dry. The shortbread cookies are practically inedible—they're so hard, barely filled, and have no real flavor. As for the staff, who barely say hello after several minutes in the bakery and barely say goodbye… I won't be going back!

I went to buy a sandwich and a flan. The sandwich was completely tasteless, and the flan was a disgrace—it was moldy! Green spots underneath; it's unacceptable. But given the reviews, it doesn't surprise me. I don't recommend it.

As for the food itself, no complaints. However, the pastries I bought at 12:45 pm on May 19th were very dry and hard. They were definitely made the day before! I'm very disappointed, especially considering the price, to have to waste something and not even enjoy it.
