An explosion of flavors and warm service from the owner. Chez Nino is a true Italian restaurant, a refreshing change from the other trendy but impersonal restaurants in town. A superb experience at this restaurant tucked away on a small street in the heart of Aix-en-Provence! The welcome was genuine and perfect; everything was done to make us feel comfortable and accommodate our young children. The food is excellent, featuring authentic Italian recipes, generous portions, and prepared with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it!

A restaurant I stumbled upon while wandering the streets of Aix-en-Provence. The street is very peaceful and quiet, away from the tourists. The cuisine is authentically Italian, and the owners have that comforting, lilting accent that puts you at ease. The spaghetti carbonara was almost perfect; it was cooked just right for a Frenchman, but not quite al dente for an Italian. You have to blend in, after all! 😉😊

We've been to Nino's several times now. The first time was by chance, and we were absolutely delighted. Since then, we've been coming back with great pleasure! It's a bit like eating with family: the warm welcome, the kindness, and the quality of the food... it all comes together perfectly. I highly recommend it! I tried to book by phone for Saturday night for 5 people. The conversation was bizarre; I was told to call Dona even though I only had her phone number! Then the person was unpleasant and refused to book for 5 people without giving any further reason. We had been before and had a good experience, but I'm quite disappointed this time; I don't understand...
