We were passing through and stopped at the Ange bakery where we received a very warm welcome. The staff was helpful, the establishment pleasant, and the sandwiches were excellent with a wide selection, as were the desserts. The free parking was very accessible. We had a lovely time and we will be back.

A very disappointing experience at the Ange bakery in Aix-les-Milles. During peak hours, there are two queues, which could be a good system… if the service were up to par. Unfortunately, the wait is so long that you have plenty of time to observe, and especially one person who stands out, seemingly in charge of the team, remaining behind the till while regularly shouting at their colleagues, without moving or really contributing to streamlining the service. When my turn finally comes, I order my bread and a salad. I'm then told that I have to pay for my first order, then go back to the other queue to pick up the salad, which is only a few meters away. I calmly point out that the salad is right next to it and that it might be possible to get it directly. The cold and dismissive response: "That's just the way it is." "So there you have it, a fine lesson in business: making a customer wait unnecessarily, refusing any common-sense gesture, and then responding arrogantly. I left without a salad and I won't be setting foot in that bakery again. Madam, when you work in a public-facing role, the very least you can do is know how to welcome customers properly. You can follow procedures without being unpleasant or treating people as if they were a nuisance. This is my last visit."

Their bread is good and has the advantage of freezing well. But their opening hours are completely incomprehensible and change from day to day… One week they're open Sunday morning, the next week you find them closed. One week they close at 8 pm, the following week you arrive at 7:02 pm and they turn you away because they're closed… As a loyal customer of this bakery, I've decided to stop going since I find them closed half the time… What a shame.

I've been coming here for over a year. The service and welcome are friendly and welcoming, making me want to come back despite the sometimes very long wait. The bread is very good, as are the sandwiches and all the products in general. Especially with the special offers, I find the value for money very good. Be aware that if you're looking for a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), it's not quite the same quality, but compared to others in the area, I find the value for money very, very good. However, I was very disappointed today after trying the raspberry Tropezienne, which only had four raspberries inside... considering the price, that's outrageous. In the future, I'll stick to the classics.

I ordered a set menu for €13.70. The person, quite logically, put everything (salad, drink, dessert, napkins, wooden cutlery) in a disposable paper bag. When I got to the till, the final price was €13.80. When I expressed my surprise, the person explained that the paper bag cost 10 cents and even offered to take it off my hands (try carrying all that without a bag...). This must have been my third time at this bakery. I won't be going back...

Perfect for a sweet treat or a quick bite! This bakery offers a wide selection of products: sandwiches, tarts, salads, pastries, and cakes. There's something for everyone. The spacious, air-conditioned dining area allows you to comfortably enjoy your meal. A special mention goes to Marcus, the salesman, whose professionalism and good humor make all the difference. Naturally smiling, polite, energetic, and helpful, he welcomes each customer with warmth and kindness. It's a pleasure to be served by someone like him. His accent even adds a touch of charm that doesn't go unnoticed! An address I recommend without hesitation! 👏🥐✨

Since it opened, I've been coming here regularly for lunch. The savory menu is nice, the pastries are good, and I really like the bread. However, I've noticed a decline in the quality of the puff pastry viennoiseries lately. They're very oily, and what's more, they only serve you the ones that are still on the rack and piping hot, so if you want to eat them right away, it's really not good. And if you have the misfortune of asking for cold pain au chocolat to at least appreciate what you're eating immediately, the waitress complains and turns it around, giving you lukewarm ones. Honestly, if I were served warm pastries and wanted to eat them in 2-3 hours, fine, but here, I'm saying it's for eating right away, so basically I'm burning my mouth and eating oil. Very disappointed.

Two customers in the store, 2 salespeople, 10-minute wait at 7 a.m., not great.

Bruise It's been three months since we moved to Ange Emilien Gauthier's place. How pleasant it was to discover such a friendly, welcoming spot, offering a menu full of delicious treats and delicacies. At its heart, the marvelous Nordic pizza (cream base and smoked salmon). This Western delight has brightened my office days more than once, constantly offering me comfort. I then believed that Ange lived up to his name and was guiding me toward the light… a magnificent lie. The harder the fall, the fall to earth… For here is my manifesto, my legacy, the price of betrayal. On a hot Monday in June, I went to Ange's, as usual. On a hot Monday in June, disillusionment struck me full force. Ange hadn't made a single pizza by 12:15 pm (Paris time). This wasn't the first time this pattern had repeated itself. It reflected a sad and cynical reality. Ange Emilien Gauthier had abandoned his clients for one simple reason: the lure of profit, and the vile cult of gain, thus aligning himself with a capitalist logic bordering on the deliberate dehumanization of those who trusted him. Listen to me, Ange, I hereby proclaim: I will not give you another single cent, and I renounce the benefits of your loyalty card (one wonders what loyalty is being rewarded here when one examines the terms of the benefits…). May reason prevail, and may madness abandon your bosses.
