I went there today for a sushi basket. But I'll come back for lunch; it's an attractive place.

Les Halles had everything going for it, but my experience was frankly disappointing. Since the pager wasn't working, I got up to ask about my order. I was told to go to the counter because, supposedly, no order had been registered. So I went there, intending to get a refund for my two burgers. Instead, I was sent to the kitchen, where I was verbally attacked, told, "You didn't specify that it was takeout!" I simply replied that no one had asked me to either. Then they handed me a dirty, greasy bag containing burgers that had dripped from their box from waiting so long. Then they yelled at me, claiming that they had called me with the pager, which was false since it wasn't working. The staff seemed annoyed despite the few customers present, stressed, and above all, unprofessional. Technical problems can happen, that's understandable. However, this behavior towards customers is completely unacceptable. It's a shame… another change of ownership will probably be needed to restore the image of Les Halles.
