CTN - La Cantina des Halles

We've been several times. And always the same observation: the service is less than mediocre. It's a shame because the place has real potential.

Absolutely terrible. Everything is frozen solid. You have to get up and pay every time you order and get your food. No smiles, no pleasant service. In short, my advice is to go to the restaurant next door; it's good and you'll pay less for decent, fresh food.

I love this concept. A lovely spot for drinks with friends, featuring excellent tapas, a glass of Loulou rosé, or a wide selection of beers. For meals, the burgers and pizzas are a real treat. It's my go-to place!

Great burger, with the extra slice of bacon – thanks to the cook who will know who they are 😉 – good music in the atmosphere. We had a great evening 😁

Very disappointed, I hadn't been back since the change of ownership. When I saw the reviews, I decided to form my own opinion, and I must say I agree with all the points raised in the 1-star reviews. The welcome was lukewarm and the food was truly low quality. That was my last time.

Excessive prices, minimal quantity, but above all an incredibly long waiting time and there weren't many of us...

First of all, I want to say that this was ABSOLUTELY not what I expected when I came to this event. It was my first time at this establishment; two friends and I came to relax and unwind after our week, but it all turned into a disaster when the musicians started playing. The sound was way, way too loud. My friend and I could barely hear each other, even sitting next to each other. I'm very disappointed with this evening, which was my first but definitely my last!

Our order was an hour late. The delivery driver hadn't arrived at the restaurant. I spoke to the young waitress on the phone to understand what was happening with our takeout order. We decided to pick up our order in person. The waitress offered no apology, seemed annoyed, and of course, nothing was offered. She still served us dishes that had been sitting in the container for an hour. Very poor communication. The food could have been good, but if they had at least changed the soggy bread and the fries. After an hour, it was inedible. The dessert wasn't homemade, just defrosted according to the label on the bottom of the container. Very disappointed.

For a restaurant rated 3.8 stars, I'm very disappointed… The welcome was more than cold. I didn't think I was bothering anyone by eating at this restaurant, given the staff's behavior, but anyway, let's move on. As for the meal, I expected at least fresh ingredients, considering the price. This was my first and last experience at this "restaurant."
